I'm actually the Samantha that inspired it, so I admit to being a little bit biased. I think the mix of delicate creature and chunky design make it stand out. Plus, it fits really well on multi-pierced ears which is a plus.

ReplyDeleteThe giveaway ring is my favorite item in the store although it was hard to pick. I have always loved dragonflies. Anytime I see one, I think to myself, "A little bit of luck was just sent to me!" They are so peaceful and graceful!
Trying to name a favorite in Mad's shop is a really difficult tak because she's such a talented an versatile artist. If I have to pick a favorite, then I would have to clarify that this is ONE of my many favorites in this wonderful shop.

ReplyDeleteLooked at all of Mad's items and they are all very cool. I do however just love the dragonfly ring the most. It reminds me of when I was in highschool rendering a photo of a dragonfly and all the specific details of it. This ring is so awesome and I just love how the tail wraps around as if to be another ring! Very awesome! Good luck to you all!

I really like the various vaccuum tube necklaces but I have to say the dragonflies are my favorite pieces. We have a lot of dragonflies in central Wisconsin. I come face to face with them quite often. I made several 'dragonfly garden stones' this past year ~ sold one on Etsy this year. Going through all 12 pages of FEST members was a feat unto itself. And then finally picking my favorite item after narrowing the list into some 30-odd shops was even harder! From Kava plants to Origami crane chopstick rests to Steampunk gear necklaces to Book safes to Hand-mixed three-free baby nail polishes to Mahogany leather satchel messenger bags to Motherwort tincture to Stoneware teapot charm sets to Vintage butterfly statement necklaces to Organic evergreen tomato seeds: the variety was endless! How could I choose?!

I love dragonflies, more than other insects in the world, so you can only imagine how amazed I was when I saw this ring. The first time I saw a dragonfly was when one flew past me and landed so close that I could easily see the texture and colours. If I don't win I'm going to put this ring on my wish list :D
