    How literal does the translation of "Ruby" need to be? I have a very nerdy idea...

    I always just use the gemstone or phrase as inspiration. I wouldn't put actual rubies on any of my items so I take it as my interpretation of this color or idea in my work. I really like these monthly challenges because it might make you do something you might not otherwise, but your creativity still shines through.
